Our firm has been in existence since 1992, and Martin Elliott himself has worked as a solicitor in Colchester since 1984.
We are a small professional firm and we pride ourselves on providing a personal, friendly and efficient service to our clients in the following areas of work:

While we offer a personal service, we nevertheless use computer technology to deal with matters as quickly as possible. We have computer links to HM Land Registry, the National Land Information Service and many Local Authorities (including Colchester Borough Council), which assist us in dealing with title and search matters quickly.
With the addition of our innovative website we have taken our service to the next level. Our on-line conveyancing case tracking system allows you access to your conveyancing case at any time of the day or night, giving you the answers you need at the touch of a button.
If you instruct us in connection with residential property matters, you will be able to track the progress of your case using this system. As a client you will have secure access to your case progess report at any time with your own unique password. We will send regular updates, by email at key stages.
While we are acting for you in connection with property matters, we can prepare a will to suit your particular circumstances at the same time. In the case of a straight forward will we can reduce our fee.
We regularly deal with the administration of estates either as executors ourselves or as the solicitors to the executors.
Following independent assessment, our firm has been awarded the prestigious Lexcel quality mark for client care in legal services. Not all legal firms hold this award. As a Lexcel accredited practice, we have been assessed to provide the following:-
